Abstract

Abstract

Corn is one of the local food commodities that are very close in our society, but has not been utilized to its full potential. The price of corn is cheap and easy to get. Unfortunately, the processing of corn crops has not been optimized through the various of food’s type. The purpose of this activity is 1) to increase public knowledge about innovation of corn processing, and 2) increase people's income. The method of this activity is to improve knowledge and target skills carried out by interactive training methods and demonstrations of the processing of corn products into Jagung Kriting. More people aware of post-harvest processed innovations and realize them in the form of economic activities that can increase income, in the implementation of this activity runs smoothly. There were 10 village administrators who attended this training. At the end of the training, the participants received new insights on post-harvest corn innovations. In addition, participants can get the opportunity to increase household income in particular and improve the economy.
