Revitalisasi Marwah Guru melalui Implementasi Kurikulum Pedagogy of Love: Strategi Membangun Ekosistem Pendidikan Humanis di MI Salafiyah Kerek Tuban

Abstract

This community service project was driven by the declining quality of pedagogical interactions due to technocratic approaches that marginalize the humanistic role of teachers. The program focused on revitalizing teachers’ professional identity through the implementation of a Love-Based Curriculum (Pedagogy of Love) at MI Salafiyah Kerek Tuban. The objective was to enhance teachers’ pedagogical capacity and foster a more humanistic learning environment. The study employed an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach integrated with Appreciative Inquiry through five stages: Define, Discover, Dream, Design, and Destiny. The participants were 12 teachers. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding, reaching 85% with a high N-Gain score (g = 0.79). In addition, coercive disciplinary practices and emotional exhaustion decreased, while empathetic communication increased. The program proved effective in creating a safer, more humanistic, and student-centered learning environment.
