Pelatihan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Kahoot Sebagai Upaya Optimalisasi Kompetensi Mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract

Students are agents of change, believed to be capable of bringing about positive transformation. To fulfil this role, they must be supported in enhancing their capabilities to engage effectively with the community. This community service initiative focuses on training pre-service Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in utilising Kahoot for learning assessment. It aims to provide insights into how to leverage Kahoot as an interactive assessment tool to improve the quality of education. Employing the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this activity revealed that the training successfully enhanced the students' ability to integrate technology into learning. Furthermore, it enabled them to create interactive and engaging evaluation tools, ultimately making classroom instruction more effective, enjoyable, and better aligned with the characteristics of learners in the digital age.
