Abstract

The use of traditional methods in elementary level education is a significant issue that requires substantial attention. Teacher innovation and creativity in delivering material have a direct impact on the success of learning. The utilization of instructional media is one of the solutions to this problem. Consequently, this statement has led to an assumption regarding the importance of conducting training on creating instructional media using QR Codes for teachers at MI Nurul Ulum Ngogri Megaluh in Jombang. The implementation of this community service utilizes the Community Based Research (CBR) method and is carried out through training and mentoring for MI Nurul Ulum teachers over four sessions. The results of this community service indicate that teachers have gained motivation and new knowledge to enhance their competence in utilizing instructional media, as demonstrated by the enthusiasm of teachers in participating and completing the tasks given during the training. In fact, 88% of the participants stated that they can apply QR Codes in designing and developing teaching materials.
