Klinik Riset sebagai Primary Prevention mengenai Plagiarism Karya Ilmiah untuk Mahasiswa IAINU Tuban

Abstract

Scientific writing is a common assignment in pursuing education, especially at university level. Searching for and reading references is a must for students to complete the assignments given by the instructor. Many factors influence the existence of shortcuts in completing scientific work, including time and student motivation. The service activity with the theme "Research Clinic as Primary Prevention regarding Plagiarism of Scientific Work for IAINU Tuban Students" uses online lecture, discussion and sampling practice methods which are used to help participants understand the material. It is hoped that the material design above can improve several student abilities, including the following: a. increase insight, knowledge and experience for PGMI students, especially in writing scientific papers. b. Correction of errors/deficiency that have been made in writing scientific papers. This often happens because it is biased by time, convenience and completion on time. c. Train skills in utilizing existing technology to be effective and efficient in assignments. This socialization activity was carried out to provide understanding to students who do not yet understand the impact of plagiarism in writing scientific papers. Students carrying out this activity were very enthusiastic when receiving the material, because this was something new that they did not yet understand, as evidenced by the many questions from students during the presentation of the material.
